SANDY ATKINS
Sandy has over 30 years of experience planning and managing services for chronically ill adults. She is currently the Vice President, Strategic Initiatives at Partners in Care Foundation, overseeing contracting, Partners at Home Network, HomeMeds dissemination, consulting, evaluation, IT strategy, and initiative development. Prior to joining Partners in Care, her past experience includes directing the Center for Long Term Care Integration, a state-funded effort to help counties integrate Medicare and Medicaid systems (both medical and long term care services) for the aged, blind and disabled population. Before that, she was administrator of several California continuing care retirement communities, including food service and the Meals on Wheels program for Altadena, CA. Sandy has an MPA in Long Term Care Administration, with a certificate in gerontology, from the University of Arizona, and a BA in Spanish from SUNY Buffalo.
