Meals on Wheels America is pleased to offer up to 100 need-based scholarships of $750 each to make it possible for more Member programs to join their colleagues at this year's Conference. Scholarship funding is provided by Subaru of America through our participation in the 2015-2016 Share the Love Event.

The application period is now closed and scholarship recipients were notified on May 31, 2016.

SCHOLARSHIP GRANTEE INFORMATION

Scholarship recipients are required to register and pay Conference Registration fees in advance of July 1, 2016, which is the Early-bird deadline. Reimbursement checks for the full amount of the scholarship award will be provided onsite at the Conference.

REQUIRED DELIVERABLES

Scholarship awardees will be required to submit a short testimonial (one-two paragraphs) describing three key takeaways from the conference, and at least one photo of themselves showing their participation in a Conference event. These materials may be used by Meals on Wheels America for marketing purposes and must be submitted via the Scholarship Follow-Up Form in the Online Grant Management System between September 5 and September 29, 2016.

Scholarship awardees will also be required to respond to a brief questionnaire by March 1, 2017 documenting the impact of their conference participation applied and implemented “on-the-job.”
