Arlington, VA, May 14, 2019 – The U.S. House Committee on Education and Labor’s Subcommittee on Civil Rights and Human Services will hold a hearing on the reauthorization of the Older Americans Act (OAA) on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at 10:15 a.m. – “Examining the Older Americans Act: Promoting Independence and Dignity for Older Americans.” The Subcommittee is led by Chairwoman Suzanne Bonamici (D-OR) and Ranking Member James Comer (R-KY) and is focused on civil rights, equal employment opportunities, human services, nutrition and the OAA.
