Monthly contributions through your employer can add up fast. For instance, if you contribute just $39 from each bi-monthly paycheck, you’ll give $1,000 in a year and qualify for our Leadership Circle.
But monthly donations of any amount through your workplace will truly make a difference for hungry seniors by keeping local programs rolling and delivering nutritious meals, which are tailored to the unique dietary needs of older people. When Meals on Wheels volunteers visit, they also check for home hazards, talk with seniors about their physical and mental health and take time to listen. For many clients, this volunteer will be the person they see all day.
To get started, ask your human resources or payroll coordinator about your company’s workplace giving program.
- If you’re a federal employee, you can support Meals on Wheels America by entering Combined Federal Campaign code 10540 on your pledge card.
- If your company has an existing workplace giving program, select Meals on Wheels America as your beneficiary.
- If your company does not have workplace giving, please ask your coordinator to contact America’s Charities.
- Ask about donation matching: Many companies match employee donations dollar-for-dollar. Your coordinator can visit this website to learn more.
