Thanks to our ongoing relationship with Subaru of America, Meals on Wheels America is pleased to provide 25 need-based scholarships of $750 each to assist Member programs unable to attend the 2018 Conference due to financial constraints.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Refunds will be issued for any registration cancellations before August 1, 2018, minus $75 per individual registration in administrative fees. Refunds will not be issued on or after August 1, 2018.
REGISTRATION PAYMENT DEADLINE
If while registering, you choose to be billed later instead of paying with a credit card, your early bird payment is due in full no later than July 6, 2018.
PRE-CONFERENCE WORKSHOPS • AUGUST 27, 2018
For the first time, we are offering two concurrent Pre-Conference Intensive Workshops on Monday, August 27 from 1:00 - 4:30 p.m. These courses are designed to kick-start learning and enhance your 2018 Conference experience.
Space is limited and an additional registration fee is required.
Refocusing on Social Determinants of Health to Strengthen Client Impact (NRCNA)
Assuring the health and wellbeing of older adults often requires a comprehensive, multipronged approach. Research has shown that more than 75% of health is determined by a combination of factors outside of the realm of medical care. Increasingly, these social determinants of health have been recognized as critical to the health of vulnerable populations. Senior nutrition programs have a long history of addressing non-medical needs for community-dwelling older adults, and thus are well-positioned to provide the nutritional, social, and environmental services that mitigate the health challenges that affect this population. Join the
National Resource Center on Nutrition and Aging (NRCNA) for this Pre-Conference Intensive Workshop that will introduce you to the social determinants of health framework and the implications for senior nutrition programs. You will have the opportunity to both learn from subject matter experts and network with peers to gain insight into how you can better align your services to address the non-medical needs of the seniors you serve.

While Full Registration is recommended, Single Day Registration – offered Tuesday, August 28, Wednesday, August 29 and Thursday, August 30 – is available for those who are unable to attend all three days.
