ASSOCIATION BOARD CHAIR VINSEN FARIS ANNOUNCES NEW VISION AND MISSION

On behalf of your Association's entire Board of Directors, Chair Vinsen Faris today announced that the Board has approved the introduction and adoption of new Vision and Mission Statements, both designed to tightly focus the Association and its activities on the single reason that it exists: to support its Members, their programs and the clients they serve.
In that spirit, from this point on, the Meals On Wheels Association of America will be guided by the following:
VISION: An America in which all seniors live a nourished life with independence and dignity.
MISSION: We believe that no senior should go hungry. Meals On Wheels Association of America empowers community programs to improve health and quality of life.
This action is a direct result of the work done and lessons learned in the Association’s Reimagining Our Future initiative that took place last year and was chronicled through the Association's electronic newsletter and highlighted in the two Virtual Town Hall Meetings, last fall and earlier today.
